PEC to Unveil Climate Change Roadmap for Pennsylvania

On June 11 the Pennsylvania Environmental Council will unveil a stakeholder-driven Climate Change Roadmap for Pennsylvania that includes nearly 40 recommendations to reduce climate-changing greenhouse gases emitted in the Commonwealth. The event will be held in the Capitol Media Center starting at 11:30. Helping to announce the recommendations will be stakeholders who participated in developing the Roadmap, along with Sen. Ted Erickson (R-Delaware) and Rep. Greg Vitali (D-Delaware) who have introduced bipartisan legislation to create a climate change action plan for Pennsylvania. The recommendations included in the Roadmap will start Pennsylvania alone generates about 1 percent of the world's greenhouse gas emissions putting Pennsylvania in the same group with top 25 emitting nations in world.
