The Department of Environmental Protection is now accepting applications for Calendar Year 2020 Act 101 Recycling Performance Grants.  The deadline for applications is December 30.  (formal notice)

Recycling Performance Grants will be awarded to municipalities based upon the weight of source-separated recyclable materials recovered by municipal recycling programs.

Due to funding available for the Recycling Performance Grant program for calendar year 2020, the funding formula will remain the same as last year which increased individual grants by an extra 20 percent.

[Note: The General Assembly took $50 million from the Recycling Fund to balance the state budget for FY 2020-21.  Read more here.]
